When leaving the port follow signs to Caen the pick up signs to Cherbourg and Avranches.

Join the A84 and follow the signs for Avranches and then Rennes. Near Rennes look for signs to Brest and Lorient and follow the N24 for about 40 miles. When approaching Lorient follow signs for Quimper and Brest traveling along the N165.

Ignore the first turn off sign to Quimper and continue until the sign for Quimper Sud Centre Ville. Exit here and follow sign to Quimper. At the first roundabout follow the sign to Benodet N365. Straight on at the next roundabout then at the next roundabout take the D34 to Benodet and continue uphill to another roundabout. Take the second exit and continue straight on at the next roundabout and then take the 1st exit at the next roundabout.
After about 4 miles the campsite is on the left just after signs to Pont l�Abbe.

Caen was the capital of lower Normandy and favoured by William the Conqueror. Bayeux, home of the famous tapestry, is a short drive away.
